History of North Bucks Province

North Bucks Province was originally formed out of the Northamptonshire Province in 1924 by Brother WT Knight KOM the first PGP, Brother SA Warden KOM First DPGP & Brother WG Dunckley CP the first PG Sec. with the following Lodges:

3059 Oakley, Two Brewers Hotel, Olney. Met on a Friday

3639 Lovat, Marquis of Chandos, St John’s Street, Newport Pagnell, Bucks. Met on a Wednesday

4780 Albert, George Hotel, High Street, Stony Stratford, Bucks. Met on a Thursday

4962 Lord Wolverton, North Western Hotel, Wolverton Bucks. Met on a Tuesday

5262 Bletchley Park, Park Hotel, Bletchley, Bucks. Met on a Wednesday.

5645 Stanton, Railway Tavern Stantonbury, Bucks. Met on a Monday

6186 Holly, Station Hotel, Woburn Sands, Bucks. Met on a Thursday

6397 Swan, Ye Old Swan, Old Bletchley, Bucks. Met ?

In 1925 The PG Secretary was Bro HV Abbott CP living at 29 Church Street, Wolverton, Bucks. The North Bucks Province met in the North Western Hotel, Wolverton, Bucks on the first Monday of the Month.

In 1928 The PG Secretary was Bro. W R Hill CP who lived at Ashcroft, Bletchley Bucks.

On the 18th May 1940 the Grand Lodge Secretary Bro John Wilson required PGL to make a return on the Charter that had been issued in 1924, presuming records to have gone missing/burned etc at GL.
